In 2024, Snivure collaborated with Scented Storytelling and Drag Me to the Movies to create a scented edition of UHF (1989), the cult comedy starring “Weird Al” Yankovic. Presented as part of Drag Me to the Movies, a recurring screening series hosted by queer artist and curator Weird Alice, this special event paired Yankovic’s gleefully absurd satire of television culture with a custom eight-scent track, delivered through a scratch-and-sniff card.

The scent track followed the film’s most iconic moments, from outrageous television parodies like Wheel of Fish and Gandhi II to the surreal commercials and sketches that cement UHF’s cult status.

Hosted by Weird Alice, with a special guest performance by Pansy Chisk, the screening transformed Toronto’s Paradise Theatre into a celebration of camp, kitsch, and cult cinema. Audience members dressed in costume, joined in preshow performances, and scratched their way through the film’s peaks of absurdity.
