Dead Lover (2026) Stink-O-Vision
For Dead Lover, Snivure collaborated with Cartuna x Dweck and director Grace Glowicki to bring the film’s singular olfactory world to life through a bespoke “Stink-O-Vision” experience. Developed for its Midnight Madness screening at the Toronto International Film Festival (2025) and carried into its international theatrical release (US, UK, Ireland, Canada) in 2026, the project featured a custom scratch-and-sniff card with ten scents designed to reflect the film’s core themes: repulsion, artificiality, and an unexpected, disarming sincerity of love.
Working closely with Glowicki, Snivure led both scent development and helped with card design, translating the film’s grotesque, erotic, and darkly comedic atmosphere into a sensory artifact. Audiences encountered an array of vividly embodied moments (from the damp rot of corpses to more intimate and provocative notes), mirroring the film’s narrative of a lonely gravedigger whose morbid scent becomes the foundation of an unlikely romance.
The scented screenings have been met with incredibly positive reactions, resulting in extensions and additional programming. Audience wrote “nothing has bonded a room full of people more like that last smell on the stink-o-vision, that created community,” “a wonderful communal experience retching with my fellow audience members,” and that Stink-O-Vision “elevated the viewing experience exponentially.”
